Description
Inspired by two weeks hiking in the Canadian Rockies. The area that offered the most inspiration for this hike was was hiking out of our Mount Assiniboine base camp We had to start in darkness to complete the 35km. As stars glinted in the inky sky and the moon lit up the pyramid of assisiboine. We silently packed our tent to the bubble of water boiling for our coffee fuel. Footsteps start and the skies open, lighting up mustard, maroon and splotches of pink across the vaste landscape. Vision expanding and mountains scored up by sharp glacier edging us all the way up to the stars.
